Today, Izanagi Games announced the Japanese release date of the escape/bullet hell shoot ’em up hybrid Yurukill: The Calumniation Games.
The game will release in Japan for PS5, PS4, and Nintendo Switch on April 14, 2022, bringing the previously announced Spring 2022 release window.
You’ll notice that no PC version was mentioned, which likely means that it will be launched alongside the Western version, which we know will be handled by NIS America. However, NIS hasn’t made any announcements yet, so we’ll have to wait and see.
If you’re not familiar with the game, it was written by Homura Kawamoto, who you may know for creating Kakegurui – Compulsive Gambler, and his younger brother Hikaru Mono.
The character is designed by mangaka Hiro Kiyohara, who worked on the Valkyria Revolution, while the music is composed by Yuko Komiyama, known for the Monster Hunter series and Mega Man.
Here’s how the developer describes Yurukill: The Calumniation Games.
